Plaine and easie code |
Plaine & Easie Code is a code used to transcribe musical incipits. It is maintained by the IAML (International Association of Music Libraries) andRISM (Répertoire International des Sources Musicales), and is compatible with formats of bibliographical cataloguing. They are complex codes that might cause musicians problems with reading. The following programme provides a "translation" of the P&E code into musical notation.
