Six GENRES for the entire catalogue were identified:
- Arias and fragments
- Cantatas
- Opera
- Sacred music
- Instrumental music
- Serenatas
(In the genre Arias and fragments scattered pieces were catalogued. They could be traced back to works that were complete but included intermittently in the source, and loose pieces that could not be traced back to any work). The works contained in the catalogue were arranged according to the GENRE they belong to and hence according to the FORM of the individual work (aria, cantata, duet, mass, sonata a tre, oratorio, suite, etc.). For every work, all known SOURCES were catalogued. Thus, once the work was identified, it appears with the indication of: Title, Genre, Form, Location of the relative source.
